More sadness here. Virtually nothing is the same as the older photo here. I was able to stand in the same
place as I remembered the place so well. Those brick gate pillars capped with sandstone on the extreme right are the only reminders, although they were hidden by the garage wall in the previous shot.
During Bus Garage days there were never any gates. Now nothing moves here. The once hive of transport industry lies silent and unproductive. Listen quietly and you can hear a velvet tick-tick of property
prices nudging skyward.
